What's New...

New, better quality screencaps have been added to Henry VIII and His Six Wives (1972), however I left a link up to the original caps because the framing is a little wider on the top and bottom.

Looks like The Countess is the winner in the poll! I actually haven't seen it yet, so I'm off to do that now...

EDIT: Okay, well that was creepy.

  1. Hello Jenn, so what was Countess like? I' m planning to watch it, I wonder if it' s any good xD
Looking forward to your screencaps <3

  2. I'm not sure...I can't quite make up my mind about it.
It's very well put together. The costume and production design is very good, while the lighting is arguably even better.
But the story is not quite satisfying for my tastes and I don't know how I feel about the characters...though given the subject matter I suspect that's rather the point.
(but I do think it would benefit from from some editing for pacing and clarity).

I'm not sure that I would recommend it, but I wouldn't recommend against seeing it either.

  3. Just stumbled on your blog. LOVE IT :D
